whats the go with LR in a months time....What with all our States hitting the panic button would it be a time to look into maybe deferring it ....The Park gives you a couple days to cancel without penalty, which i hope not as i havent been to any for quite a time,Port Mcquarrie i think was the last....Trying to make sense out of some of these Gov. covic sites is mind boggling as regards travel between states...If you live in Vic. and are in a covic free area you are allowed entry to NSW, but not to pass thru any listed areas in that state....When it comes time to make the trip, circumstances might change ans we cant leave home Hoping it still goes on...greg

No one really knows mate. The NSW fellas are still hopeful, no one has cancelled yet as far as I know. I don't hold much hope for the Qld border opening up in time either, so basically I will hold my booking until the death

Some suggest Australia is testing ground for future govt actions in the U.S.
I'm reminded of an old friend who liked to describe such situations as, "irresistible force meets immovable object."

It's frustrating for sure but I think a lot of the information being shown in the US and Canada is very slanted. Yes we are having lockdowns, mainly in the states of New South Wales and Victoria and businesses (some) are doing it very tough (others are setting records) but infections Australia wide are about 2000 a day and falling, so in a population of 24 million it's not that bad. Our Vaccination rates are getting up there as well. The demonstrations have all but stopped with the radical ratbags running out of support and energy. I think by Xmas we will see all (maybe not WA) open up and we will then have to live with the virus as we do with the flu etc.

No worries Greg, have a good Christmas mate.

An attempt to vote for the October flocking was made on our FB page but it went to shit, so I have no idea where it will be, if there will be one. With the two Steves and Jimbo gone things are not quite the same.

Prayers to the fallen but we're all there eventually, I remember Jimbo suggested meeting in Flagstaff, AZ...perhaps I'll see him later. Anyway the flockings need to happen.... Lee, those guys vote you to carry on, their wish!

Yes I hear them Rich, I'm a bit of a stickler to tradition, so we shall see what transpires.
